In 1862, the Vichy brand created its first automatons.

They were conceived in the district of the Marais in Paris. They relate to the world of spectacle (circus, illusionnism), Parisian life or small trades.

The modern Vichy automatons have been produced nowadays with original material (including moulds).

This company also sells automatons made by Lambert, Roullet-Descamps and Phalibois.

The automatons created by Christine and Laurent Duchaussois represent charming small androids of approximately 30 centimetres height. Dressed in antique costumes, they relate to the spectacle world : pianists, violonists, violoncellists, painters, puppeteers, clowns etc. The craftsmen's world is also represented : nurses, lacemakers, flowers saleswomen, fortune-tellers...
